Archipelago of San Bernardo

Overview

Archipelago of San Bernardo lies in Colombia’s Caribbean, in the Gulf of Morrosquillo, a chain of nine coastal coral islands and one artificial island covering about 213 km2. It belongs administratively to Bolívar Department, except Boquerón Island, which belongs to Sucre Department. Its ten islands are Boquerón, Cabruna, Ceycén, Mangle, Múcura, Palma, Panda, Santa Cruz del Islote, Tintipán, and Maravilla, all lying close to Tolú and Coveñas.
