Bay of Pigs

Overview

Bay of Pigs is an inlet of the Gulf of Cazones on Cuba’s southern coast. In 1910 it lay within Santa Clara Province, and by 1961 within Las Villas Province. In 1976, after Cuba’s original six provinces were reorganized into fourteen, it was reassigned to Matanzas Province.
