Busuanga Island

Overview

Busuanga Island is the largest of the Calamian Group in Palawan, Philippines, and the province’s second largest island after Palawan itself. It lies midway between Mindoro and Palawan, with the South China Sea to the west and the Sulu Sea to the southeast. Southward are Culion and Coron, while the island’s western third falls under Busuanga municipality and its eastern two-thirds under Coron.
