Overview

Christ of the Abyss is a submerged bronze statue of Jesus Christ by Guido Galletti. Its original cast rests in the Mediterranean Sea off San Fruttuoso, between Camogli and Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Other casts stand elsewhere in the world, in underwater sites, churches, and museums.
